Course Description and contents:

Certified Medical Aesthetics Technician (MAT) program is a registered and copyrighted medical aesthetician program by the BC Academy of Medical Aesthetics & Skin Care is based in Port Coquitlam. The training program includes study of several medical skin care procedures with to vitalize aged facial skin and to reduce / remove skin imperfections effectively and safely. Students will learn how to utilize and apply several approved devices and techniques including Microneedling, Dermaplaning, Advanced Facial and Microdermabrasion, Diode, Alex, ND-YAG Lasers and IPL for hair removal, tattoo removal, pigmentation removal, superficial spider veins and capillaries and Acne lesions as well as skin rejuvenation and resurfacing.
