Course Description:
PDO (polydioxanone) is the material used in surgical stitches. Plastic surgeons started to use PDO threads because they discovered the use for cosmetic enhancement for sagging skin and for how well the threads stimulate collagen synthesis. Our Level 1 PDO Thread Lift Training course is a full comprehensive 2-day training designed for advanced aesthetic doctors, dentists and nurses looking to learn one of the most advanced non-surgical procedures in today’s Canada aesthetic market. We provide a comprehensive training programme combining essential anatomical knowledge and key practical skills on live models. This is an exclusive opportunity to learn how to safely achieve facial re-volumization rejuvenation and lifting using one of the highest quality products on the market by advanced techniques in performing the PDO thread lift. Please note that the procedure of thread lift is carried on by a Licensed healthcare professional, it falls within the Canadian and College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CSPBC) scope of registration, requiring the provider to register with CSPBC for the regulated activity of Surgical procedures in British Columbia.

  • Discussion on proper tissue depths, patient mapping and preparation
  • Tighten and lift nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and jowls

  • How to avoid, manage, and treat possible adverse reactions and complications
Patient treatment observation and hands-on practice
